Shipping & Returns
All of our items ship out US Postal Service. Lighter items ship USPS First Class, and heavier items ship out USPS Priority Flat Rate. Some of the boxes can weigh up to 70lbs per USPS postal regulations. Packages that weigh over 50lbs will have warning stickers on the outside of the box to forewarn you that the box is heavy.
You MUST make contact with us either via email or telephone for return authorization. This is usually a very quick email or phone conversation. We basically inform you that you will need to include a copy of the packing slip in your return box, so that we know who to issue the refund to.
You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery regardless of reason. A restocking fee of up to 20% MAY be assessed for returns unless an error on our part was made. We also reserve the right to further reduce your refund amount by the Actual cost to ship your order. We are required to pay for shipping to you - even if your shipping is "free". Items returned to us for refund will have the actual cost deducted from their return. Restocking fees are often times waived if the correct replacement part is ordered through our store. Replacement parts MUST be ordered and shipped BEFORE we compute the refund amount once your initial order has made it back to our warehouse.
Return shipping is at the BUYERS expense, unless we made a mistake on our end and sent you the wrong item. If you did not thouroughly read the description and THOUGHT you were getting one thing, but got what was described, you are still responsible for return shipping. We will be happy to refund you for return shippnig if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). All items returned will be inspected to see if the part returned was in fact the part that was ordered.. If parts returned as "defective or inaccurate" are deemed to be correct and functional, restocking fees as stated above will be deducted from your return.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Packages that have been opened, or have pieces missing MAY be assessed a restocking fee of up to 50% of the purchase price AS WELL AS additional deductions for costs associated with originally shipping the order to you.
